32+5 weeks pregnant.
I made a previous post a few weeks ago where I was prescribed iron tablets that upset my stomach for 5 days. The conclusion to that was my midwife recommended spatone to gently ease up my iron levels.
Managed to have a week where I was pretty good, and started including iron rich foods to my diet. But this week has gone badly. Monday I felt super weak and nauseous, then yesterday the sulphur burps were back followed by diarrhea up to today. I've called the midwife, she's wondering if Im sensitive to iron and that build up might of knocked me back ... I was taking 2 spatone a day and my prenatal pregnacare pill. She also mention that juniors movements aren't helping as it push on my digestive tract. I'm also supecting a tummy bug, I did meet friends at a Xmas market at the weekend ...
My problem is thou is I can't keep having sick days at work if this is going to be a recurring thing. I need to get my iron but if it's causing me to flush me system everytime I feel like I'm fighting a lossing battle...
This making me worry about babies health, my health and my job!
Last time I went to the doctor's they prescripted me gavisgon. But I kinda want imodium ... Even though I know that isn't allowed.
Im feeling a tad out of options to get better and maintain a healthy pregnancy.
Not sure if I should be taking any suppliment a either while I'm unwell since will that just prolong this upset tummy ... I'm at a loss
