Baby HB in relation to its Sex. How accurate is the old wives tale?

At my MW appt yesterday babies HB was 160ish. Its been about 150 the whole way throught. My MW said- well according to the old wives tale you are having a girl and kept on referring to the baby as she.
Just seeing if there really is any truth in the old wives tale! (ie 140 and under a boy, 140 plus a girl!)
Also- doesn't 160 seem high?!

Not accurate at all in my case, my boy and girl were pretty much the same all the way through.

My DD had a basal rate of 160.
MY DS1 and this lo have bboth been about 135. (this lo is a boy too.)

Mine was always 160 and I had a boy.

Mine has always been 140-150 and it's a boy. I was always told the hb range was about 140-170 so 160 doesn't seem to high to me.
