I'm 30 weeks pregnant and while walking the dog she pulled on the lead and I wet myself Confused I'm so embarrassed. it was a full on wee. Thankfully I had black jeans on but I've just had to walk home freezing and soaking. Is this normal?

Happens to the best of us.

HaulingFreight · 27/11/2018 13:10

Happened to me too when I was 32ish weeks, mortified but it's common apparently Blush

I'm 29+6 and have a toddler too but I do this often! Not even a lot, mostly just a dribble - sometimes don't even notice. Can just tell by the smell.

I've always done PFE too!! How annoying

WTBE · 27/11/2018 13:55

When I was 6 months pregnant, my partner came home to find me leaning out of the back door puking,(no time to make it to the loo) and wetting myself at the same time, I just couldn't control either end! Blush

Don't be embarrassed OP, happens to the best of us!

InfantaSybilla · 27/11/2018 13:57

We've all been there. I wet myself yesterday coughing (I'm 36 weeks). Interestingly I have pelvic girdle pain but my physio said that my pelvic floor is very strong so not to go mad in pelvic for exercises

jaychops · 27/11/2018 14:30

Don't worry OP. I posted about this a couple of weeks ago - I wet the bed during the night! Had to wake DH so we could change the sheets. I was mortified but reassured on here that it's very common. Flowers

Mummytowooter · 27/11/2018 15:01

Yep. Woke up one night at 33 weeks and thought my waters had gone but nope...peed the bed 😩

rosydreams · 27/11/2018 15:07

Hi OP

I had a minor incident at work last week I stood up as I was talking to a colleague and I immediately thought “oh my god I think I’ve just pissed myself!” I managed to get to the loo & I had Blush luckily I had dark trousers on and just went through the knickers! I was mortified and convinced myself I must have a UTI or something. I went to my GP and I didn’t she told me baby must enjoy laying on my bladder & to stay on the loo a little longer after have a wee...

The best part? I’m only 20 + 3 haha! And it’s my first! I now carry around a spare pair of knickers along with a pad in my bag just in case!

Don’t worry and I hope you’re okay!

Bigfluffybearbum · 27/11/2018 15:59

I'm blaming the dog for pulling meHmm

Unfortunately I couldn’t get away with that one in the office!

JennyOnAPlate · 27/11/2018 16:09

I wet myself in the car when I was 30ish weeks. It happens op don't worry about it.

owowfuckeeow · 27/11/2018 17:03

I’ve got a cough and a cold and feel like crap. One of the reasons I stayed home today is because I have no faith in my pelvic floor. I went through so many pyjamas bottoms last night so your not alone Flowers

Angharad07 · 27/11/2018 23:31

When I was only 7 weeks pregnant I had a bad UTI and forgot to use the loo before a 3 hour bus journey through rural roads with no stops near any loos...the pain was so intense that I wet myself

Pomfluff · 28/11/2018 19:44

I wet myself 3 weeks ago (32weeks) and was 100% convinced that my waters broke. Called my husband who was out of the house at the time and we rushed to hospital around midnight. After 1 hour of monitoring and tests, they told us it definitely wasn't amniotic fluid and sent us home. Not sure if I was more relieved or embarrassed by the whole experience! We did end up telling loads of friends, makes a good pregnancy story Grin

The weird thing is that it never happened before that or again since! A few tiny leaks maybe but never a full-on gush without any warning, so I'm hoping it stays that way till birth!

laurG · 28/11/2018 20:17

I also pood myself.... had terrible constipation due to ibs that landed me in hospital. Prescription laxatives, bad timing and poor pelvic floor. Humiliating. Luckily it happened at the end of my street.
