Hi all :)

I've currently 19 weeks and a couple of times I've had this really strange sensation in my belly. I do love feeling it though as it's obviously really exciting :)

I understand that it could be the baby rolling, but it can last quite a few minutes and it can feel pretty intense and a little bit weird sometimes to the point of me going a little dizzy from it.

Just wondering if this is normal and if anyone knows exactly what the baby is getting up to down there when it's happening? Just intrigued, thanks in advance :)

I have what I think is a similar sensation that I assume is her rolling but it's all just guess work to me. I'm now 29 weeks (Actually 30 tomorrow... eek!) and the other day it felt as though she was pushing up my stomach and I thought I was going to be sick and then she moved and everything dropped and created loads of room. Ahh the relief. It also feels she just likes to poke my bladder at times.

You'd be surprised at what they get up to in there! They certainly don't just lie there. No doubt the baby was rolling about, and sometimes they do push against your internal organs which can make you feel really weird. Best thing to do is to enjoy the movements - its all part of bonding with your baby.
