Help!!!

Just been to hospital for stomach pains... Everything's fine with babys heart etc but am measuring 3/4 weeks behind! Am nearly 27 weeks now. They are scheduling an emergency scan for tomorrow.
Any idea what it is?

Try not to worry too much, its very common and can be due to a number of factors. Your scans are just to check size of baby, amniotic fluid levels and blood flow to baby, they may want to have follow up scans at regular intervals just to check baby continues to grow at a normal predicted rate for them. I had this at 34 weeks, everything was fine and baby weighed a healthy 6lb 13oz, I was just monitored as above. Its scary when they say 'emergency' or 'next day' appointment but its just as there is precious cargo in there, im sure all will be fine tomorrow x

As it happened my LB liked to be very tucked up and turn sideways hence lower measurements x

My son measured small at 35 weeks and I was sent for an "emergency" scan. He was born at 38 weeks at 8lb 3oz

I had a scan at 39+5 as was measuring small all of a sudden. Scan said 7lb9. Baby born following day weighing 8lb9. He had obviously just been hiding
