Sweeps

Hi Ladies, I have a sweep this Thursday at 40weeks.

What can I expect that evening/following day if sweep is successful?

I think it really differs from person to person.

But me and my DSis both had same experience with post sweep (although I didn't actually give consent for mine but that is a different story). We found that within half hour we had full blown, relentless contractions that got us into labour. They did die down and become more manageable after 2 hours for us, but those first post sweep contractions were the most pain we were in by far.
