I have bouts of Nausea throughout the day, and have been sick a handful of times in the last few weeks I am currently 9 weeks exactly...

Finding work tough, when I'm feeling sick all day and can't stand certain smells etc.

any tips/home remedies to ease the nausea?

Have tried ginger in different forms but haven't noticed a difference.

(Going on holiday in a weeks time for 5 days and want to enjoy food/ time without feeling sick at every bite )

Hi OP

I’d recommend mints in any form - tea, polos or chewing gum as ginger didn’t agree with me. Those sea bands are helpful too, you can get those at any pharmacy. I lived off ice lollies too when I was around 9 weeks my fridge is still rammed with them!

My sickness was terrible from week 6 - week 14 and I’m still sick at 20 weeks but it has eased. I really feel for you as I was running from my desk to the toilets at work. I’d also think about contacting your GP to see what sickness tablets they can give you, I’m on Ondansetron and they massively help. Only problem is that they can make you really constipated so watch out if they prescribe them.

Hope you feel better soon x

Seconding the sea bands recommendation. As far as mints are concerned, I find Tic Tacs the best, as they are very small and so don’t feel like eating. I have three at a time, generally. About to run out myself, so need an emergency visit to the shop soon!
