I'm feeling my baby boy alot lately, lots of lovely little flutters and sometimes if I press my tummy in certain places I can feel him I Think? Well it feels hard and then the area around it is squishy lol.
How many weeks were you ladies when you felt the first proper kicks? Also can't wait for my partner to feel the baby move, when do you think that will happen?
I'm currently 19+5 xx

19+5 for me, was a very obvious big kick that made me jump!

Stephisaur · 25/11/2018 22:33

Taps at around 19 weeks, proper kicks around a week later :)

Ohyesiam · 25/11/2018 22:34

20 weeks with my first, 17 with my second.

Unicorn234 · 25/11/2018 23:04

He's been moving lots today, it's also getting really uncomfortable when I bend down lol.
Fingers crossed the first proper kicks will be soon 😁🤞

I remember feeling a massive kick at 18 weeks, then nothing! Maybe the odd one now and again. But I felt it a lot more regularly at 22 weeks.

Mrstobe90 · 25/11/2018 23:15

I felt the first flutter at 16 weeks and a real kick at 18 weeks.

silvertongue · 25/11/2018 23:34

18 weeks. Didn't feel any flutters beforehand, just straight in with a massive kick to the cervix. It's been kicking me constantly every day since!

Nolagerformethanks · 26/11/2018 09:47

Around 21-22 weeks, this is my first Smile

Anyat212 · 26/11/2018 09:53

Hi OP

I had flutters from around 18 weeks although I thought I had a dodgey stomach at first Blush

I’m 20 + 2 today and felt the first kick in the bath yesterday 💜 my DP felt her kicking last night in bed too - I was laid there texting him to come to bed to feel her moving. ( I didn’t move until he came up!) Of course she wants to be the most active when it’s bed time & I have work in the morning

RosiePosies · 26/11/2018 11:07

I started feeling a weird kind of rolling around sensation when I was 16-17 weeks, then at 19 weeks I had a coke and lay down on my sofa with my legs up to watch tele and out of nowhere got absolutely booted. I could feel it from the outside and everything. It kind of terrified me 😂 I'm 20+2 now and it's still not really in a pattern, and haven't had anything quite as strong since. It's more like the squirming has just got a lot more obvious.

RosiePosies · 26/11/2018 11:07

@Anyat212 due date buddy! ♥️

Anyat212 · 26/11/2018 11:47

@RosiePosies ah asif! 💜 congrats! Have you found out what you are having?

Haha it literally is out of nowhere as well isn’t it 😂 I wasn’t expecting it in the bath considering any free time I have is in the bath at the moment. I was abit scared too! How’s your pregnancy been so far? I’ve really struggled so far in particular with nausea & sickness which I’m now convinced will clear up at 40 weeks!!

Bluerussian · 26/11/2018 12:00

16 weeks by date.

RosiePosies · 26/11/2018 14:14

@Anyat212 thanks, you too! 💚 my birthday is the 18th so it's going to be a lovely one!We couldn't wait and found out we're having a girl at 17 weeks - got our anomaly scan tomorrow so will be double checking!! Have you found out? Ahh bless you!! For the past two weeks I've been able to eat things that aren't beige again, and appetite seems to be back to normal 🤞🏻 The emotional side seems to be what's affecting me the most, I have ALL THE FEELINGS! That and the constant tiredness.

Whyohwhy65 · 26/11/2018 14:16

20 weeks, it was around 1am and I flew upstairs to tell dh who was in the shower at the time. He said my excitement was the cutest thing he had ever seen Grin

Anyat212 · 26/11/2018 15:18

@RosiePosies haha is your birthday in April sorry? Mine is the 19th April 😂 Everyone keeps telling me it would be a lovely surprise too if the baby came on that day. I had my scan last week and it’s a girl, I’m just so happy I now know what I’m buying as I had so many ideas for boy or girl my head was bursting! The scan was fine for me I have a low lying placenta so will be having another scan later on but I’m not too worried atm. Hope everything goes well for you.

I’m with you on the emotion side, I must cry atleast once a day, a cute text, a sad story or getting annoyed at work 😂 I can’t even watch Dynasties on BBC1 anymore! Ah the tiredness too.. I thought I might be anaemic (I have been in the past) but nothing, have you had your iron levels checked?

CaptainUnderpants96 · 26/11/2018 15:26

23 weeks. First baby and I have an anterior placenta.

Kianbaby123 · 26/11/2018 21:35

Unicorn234 · 27/11/2018 16:31

Anyat212 · 27/11/2018 16:54

Ah congrats OP! I’m sure you will feel them soon haha.

Your boy sounds like my girl at the 12 week scan she was like a mini Olympian in there - fast forward to 20 weeks she was sleeping and we struggled getting a good picture for ages! Was the polar opposite but she’s fine in there.

Good luck with your pregnancy!

Kissel · 27/11/2018 17:19

15 weeks with an anterior placenta. She was kicking so hard she was moving my work lanyard at 17 weeks.
Now I can’t put her in a gro bag because she kicks so much!

Unicorn234 · 27/11/2018 17:21

@Anyat212 this is my 3rd scan as I payed for a private one 🙊 and on all 3 he would not stop moving lol. Think I will have my hands full haha xx
