Severe hip and lower back pain

Can anyone offer any help of advice please? I've been getting severe hip and central lower back pain since about 3 moths into my pregnancy; I'm now just shy of 6 months and the pain is horrendous 😢 I get pain in my legs when I lay down and continuous pain throughout the day with my hips. It's like I'm constantly jarring them! Any help or advice I can use a short term fix until I see my midwife in 2 weeks please? 💕

Ring your midwife to refer you to physio. Book a private appointment with a chiropractor with experience of pelvic girdle pain. I've had it from 9 weeks and I'm now 25 weeks. There is not quick fix/ cure except giving birth.

Have a google of pelvic girdle pain (or spd) as there are a few things that might be of some small help.

It's awful, yes. Mines become considerably worse and I can barely walk some days... hugs.

Can you call your midwife? I would ask for a referral asap to see the physio. I also bought a belly support band for during the day that helped. And at night I slept on my side, with a pillow between my legs and with 2 folded duvets (so 4 duvet layers) underneath me.

I shall call my midwife first thing tomorrow as it's getting so painful. It'll have to be the community midwife team as I don't have phone number for my midwife. I was worried about SPD at my last appointment as my mother suffered with it while pregnant with all 4 of her children and midwife fobbed me off and said aches and pains are normally in pregnancy. I sleep with a pillow between my knees and propping up my back one at the front to place my arm on. Thank you guys :)
