BFN but feeling kicks !

As title says!

I have been feeling all my usual pregnancy symptoms (gas, bloat, sleepiness, hunger...) and a few more for a few month.

My period didn’t come for a while, then I tested and it was BFN.

Then it came a week ago but wasn’t the usual..

But I could swear I feel small fluttery kicks.

Today I drank something cold and I swear I was surprised by a huge kick!

It wasn’t gas.

I have no idea what to think.....

Is it possible to have BFN but still be pregnant ?

Well how far along would you think you were?

I'd be pretty sure to say that these are phantom kicks

Oh ok am reading about phantom kicks

Strange it happened when I drank cold milk

Don’t know why I keep thinking I’m pregnant

I get this all the time, the first time it happened I was in the bath which when when DD was most active, completely freaked me out as I was on the pill but was also on the pill with my daughter when I got pregnant with her, but really felt like the feelings I got with DD when she was around 16 weeks, I'd felt a bit off as well so did a pregnancy test ASAP which was bfn, my friends also experienced them as well ! I didn't think they were common x

Well not all the time but it's happened a few times in the past few months xx

Unless you are months down the line, you are NOT feeling kicks!

nickelbabeokay · 24/11/2018 18:43

Have you still no periods?

kenandbarbie · 24/11/2018 18:55

But you would be around 16 weeks before you felt kicks, how pregnant go you think you could be?

Sexnotgender · 24/11/2018 18:57

You'd need to be at LEAST 16-20 weeks pregnant before feeling kicks depending on whether it's your first pregnancy or not.

Am gonna sound crazy but here is the thing

I’m usually extremely regular , with my periods.

I gave birth 9 months ago and my period returned at 6 months pp.

After they returned they skipped a whole Month.. and then when I got them they skipped a whole month again.

So yes I’m actually bleeding.. but it’s not the usual stuff..

And I definitely have symptoms which is why I was confused

I’m thinking could it be my breastfeeding hormones Confused.. I’m still breastfeeding and so could these cause similar feelings to pregnancy

Reason I want to know is that I have a condition where I need to take measures in early pregnancy as to not miscarry and so i would want to know

But I guess if I’m feeling kicks then it’s either false or I’m too far anyway

It’s common for periods to be irregular when breastfeeding. You can have a period then not one for several months, etc. Periods can be different/lighter too. Some women’s periods don’t return to normal until they have stopped feeding completely.
