Hi everyone

Me and my husband had sex this morning it was around 8.45-9.00ish I think and since then I’ve had pains in my lower abdomen and it’s quite bad. I’m 30 weeks with twins. I’m used to a lot of aches and pains but this feels very different and I’m a bit worried that my body is trying to contract.

It’s in my lower abdomen, defo in my uterus, pelvis, hips, lower back and sort of where my bum is?! It comes and goes and it sort of feels like a dull achy period pain in some ways. I find it hard to walk and whatever position I move to it hurts. It’s now 15.45 and it hasn’t stopped even though I’ve been resting. I’ve been able to deal with it so it isn’t excruciating but it’s uncomfortable and definitely painful.

I’m wondering if perhaps it’s a false alarm because of sex or maybe BH? How can I tell the difference? This is my first pregnancy, how will I know when something is wrong?

If you're concerned, go to the hospital. The worst they will do is tell you to go home again if its a false alarm
