Anyone awake think labour is starting

I currently feel so scared had a load of mucus and a bloody show at 8am this morning and have felt off all day then around 3 hours ago have had the worst no. 2's imaginable 😂😂😂 which have eased now but i think i may be having contractions every 10 mins i get an awful tightening in my hips and lower back along with intense aching lasts about a minute i also keep getting the urge to pee but nothing comes of it. Does this sound like labour??😮

Yep! This is defno labour ( literally just gave birth 9hours ago so very fresh in my mind ) how long do contractions last for? I was told that once you have them every 5 minuets and they last one minuet then you are ready to come in. But if you have any worries call them and you can go in to get checked over x x I had alotnofnbloody show as dilated crazy quick good luck

Im 39+1 theyre lasting around a minute have left oh to sleep for now as i can cope atm and thankyou very nervous and excited!!!!

First things to calm. Try not to be scared and take a moment to calm. It would be wise to let the ward know how you are doing the they can advise whether best to go in.

Try and distract yourself. Perhaps snuggle up on the sofa with a film and try and doze. IF it’s uncomfort You could have a warm bath too.

Don’t worry about rushing in too soon if you’re planning on having the baby in hospital.

Are you doing the counting back from 10 with each one?

Awww enjoy the breaks between contractions they are golden. If you have a maternity tens machine they are amazing at helping. Keep that calm I am gonna rest attitude you will be amazing.

Phone the maternity ward and ask for advice!!! sounds like you maybe on your way. Congratulations x

I'm a few hours late to the party, Hope you managed to get some rest and things have progressed now.

Managed to get some sleep unfortunately nothing has progressed yet just the same 10 min apart tightening with some pain feels like a long road ahead 😪😪

Bless you must be super frustrating, try bouncing on a birthing ball if you have one don’t know if that’s what did the trick but will help get them into position quicker, hope you got some rest can’t imagine having full blown contractions for that long you are a superstar and you can do this, today is defno gonna be the day x x

Have you tried the 'loo' position? Being on the loo is a great position for pressure on cervix, just make sure you jump off before delivering! Keep going hoping for news soon x

Hey everyone unfortunately very much still pregnant here everything settled yesterday so have been frantically bouncing on my birth ball😂😂 been having alot of cream coloured mucus this morn so who knows this baby is just too cosy and stubborn!!!!😂
