Small maternity bras

I’m 10 weeks pregnant and my bras are becoming very uncomfortable so was looking into maternity bras. The problem is I’m normally a 28a/b depending on the shop, and I can’t find anywhere that sells maternity bras at a band size smaller than 32! (The exception is bravissimo but they only cater to large cup sizes.). I know you can go up a band size in pregnancy but I definitely haven’t yet, and I don’t know how likely it is that I’ll go up two band sizes?
So I was wondering how essential maternity bras really are, I find it quite hard to buy bras in my size anyway, but if I get remeasured and then just find some comfy basic regular bras (no underwriting, decent amount of coverage etc.), will that be ok?
I know it’s miles off but I’m also now worrying that I can’t find any nursing bras in my size either!

Just buy a comfortable bra. Doesn't have to be maternity. Wires are fine all the way through pregnancy if that's your preference.

Like many baby related things, it's all a marketing ploy to make money!

You can wear wired bras when breastfeeding too so long as they fit properly.

And for nursing, I recommend molke bras is you want comfort (you'll likely be a size xs stellar).

Or you can convert any comfortable bra in to a feeding bra using a conversion kit from suckle store. V.v.v. easy to do.

I am also a small band size (28/30) and stopped wearing fitted underwired bras a couple of years ago cos I found them so uncomfortable. I am wearing padded crop top bras from peacocks and plan to get something similar for feeding. So comfy and allow for growth.

Ooh thanks, I’ll look at all of those!

I’m finding the underwire quite uncomfortable at the moment (even though I’ve just measured and it turns out I should actually be wearing a 26 band size, if such a thing exists, so it’s a bit annoying that a 28 band size is hurting already when it’s not even too small!) so will definitely look into the crop top bras. My current ones feel like some sort of torture device at the moment

Ive got these

(or similar, ive had them a year or so). Maybe I will use a conversion thingy, also another thread recommended H&M maternity bras (I havent looked yet) but not sure on sizing.

Once I'd switched my whole upper half would squirm if I tried to put on a standard underwired - know what you mean about them feeling like torture devices!
