Cervix, cramps and mucus plug worries

TMI warning!

So I am only 7 weeks pregnant but so worried after sex last night was so painful and Dh couldn't even get half way in! All last night, after sex attempt, I struggled to sleep as in pain.

Woke up this morning hoping all would be normal but instead I've been horribly cramping to the point where I feel sick with the pain.

Went to the loo this afternoon and what I can only describe as a mucus plug fell out of me. I am surprised by this as didn't think it would have formed yet?

I had a feel up there to see if maybe something was right and I didn't even have to put my tip of my finger in to fill my cervix and that I would easily get 2 fingers in.

This is a bad sign isn't it? I have a 7 week reassurance scan tomorrow and I just know it's going to be bad news now.

Your cervix changes when you get pregnant. I vaguely remember mine feeling quite long and low when I first fell pregnant. Sex was uncomfortable and I had tummy aches too.

The aches were just normal aches and pains, everything stretching and expanding.

My cervix shortened and changed position and sex was no longer painful.

Try to relax and not panic.... your body is changing but it's not all bad news :)
