After a 12 week scan what are my next appointments?

I’m having my 12 week scan tomorrow but don’t have anything else booked in except a consultant check up around 20 weeks. When should the next scan be? I would quite like to get it in the diary when I’m visiting the hospital tomorrow!

Usually a 16 week midwife appointment I think

16 week midwife appointment
20 week scan - you should get an appointment for this tomorrow
24 week midwife appointment.

I can’t remember any after that. You may have more scans/appointments if you are consultant led.

Have you had your flu jab yet?

There’s a list of midwife appointments at the front of your yellow book. In terms of the anomaly scan I think it depends where you are as to when/how it’s booked - I was sent a letter with a time and date rather than booking it at my 12 week scan.

Ah thanks I better ring the midwife to get the next couple of appointments booked in! Yes had flu jab last week :)

16 midwife appointment (this was booked in at my booking appoibtment) 20 week scan, 25 week midwife then every 3rd week with midwife if its your first baby
