We have just found out we are having another boy, we had decided on the name Jak after DH Grandad, but it is so popular - I do like the name, but am now thinking of something a little different, we have changed it a little by taking the C out of it. Have no idea for a middle name, our surname is Oakley.
I quite like Bailey Grey Oakley, but hubby not sure.
Any ideas anyone?

I've got a mate called Benn and the misspelling drives him crazy!

DH is keen on Edson but thats probably because its Pele's real name.

Bailey Grey Oakley is lovely. You will probably get people asking if it was the Baileys that started aided his conception but don't let that put you off

DeviousDaffodil · 21/06/2007 11:42

Not sure if Bailey and Oakley go together, too many 'eees'?

belgo · 21/06/2007 11:43

What about Jake or Jacob? Jak will only confuse.

MamaMaiasaura · 21/06/2007 11:44

What about Jonathan - jack is a version of John so still linked to grand dad.

He can then shorton to John or Jack/Jak

I think you're onto a loser trying to make Jack 'a little different', tbh...

Dawn2820 · 21/06/2007 12:28

i love the name Bailey, but i associate that with a female and i dont like grey, sorry

Bodkin · 21/06/2007 12:53

Bailey Grey Oakley - hmmm, sounds like something off the Farrow and Ball chart... But that might be cos I'm in the middle of redecorating and am trying to choose a paint colour

loopyredangel · 21/06/2007 21:32

Lol Bodkin- might be the next colour craze! Thanks for your input everyone - I see what you mean about the mispelling thing with Jak, just thought it was a bit more modern.
Never really been keen on the name John, just personal pref.
Littlelapin my DH GD's surname was D'arcy!
Hey myjobismum - Oakley Oakley has a certain ring to it LOL!!!!
