UTIs are very common in pregnancy and antibiotics are prescribed without any issues.

I’ve had 3 UTIs so far, and I’m 33 weeks pregnant.

As long as you get treatment, you have nothing to worry about. Untreated UTIs are not good (because they can spread and then cause issues, but it doesn’t happen overnight) - but that’s why they check urine samples when you have appointments with your gp and/or midwife.

Don’t worry!

All my UTIs during pregnancy have been without any symptoms until I start on the medication.
Then I get the normal symptoms, including lower back pain.

Can you get to an Urgent Care Centre? Pregnant with a UTI is a perfectly valid reason to visit.

I have a persistent UTI. Now having a culture and sensitivity test done as it didn't respond to some heavy antibiotics I took. They're common. They don't cause any problems unless they become more serious or affect your kidneys. Some women are on antibiotics as preventative measure for their entire pregnancy. It's because your expanding uterus squishes your bladder - evolutionary fail - so you struggle to fully empty your bladder when pregnant.
