Firstly, can I apologise for ALWAYS being on here and asking stupid questions; I just seem to get better answers than when I google..

So, here's the thing;
I have a discharge, which really really smells.. When I have 'air escape' from my front bottom it really smells foul, like poop.. I'm getting really paranoid that I can smell myself all the time. I have no itching/burning etc, but, a constant discharge so I'm wearing panty liners.

I'm going to the nurse tomorrow, so, hopefully I'll have an answer/treatment.

Has anyone experienced anything, like this, be it through pregnancy or not? I'm clutching at straws a bit..

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

It could be pregnancy related, or it could be an infection. I found in early pregnancy I was much more pungent down there, and I noticed BO more too (and I don't normally smell) it was increased smell, NOT increased sense of smell (other things smelt normal to me). It did settle down. I wouldn't say it was an offensive smell tough, which leads me to think it's an infection (not necessarily sexually transmitted, don't worry!).

I'm thinking its an infection so I'm going to get it sorted - I hope - tomorrow.. I get really anxious when people come near me or I go into an enclosed space..

Its horrible!!

You could have developed a fistula - I have had one as a result of IBD, but anyone can get them.. Medication is your friend if that's the case.. you don't want a seton up there..!

I'm sure it's nothing that extreme though, as PP said likely an infection or some kind of imbalance.

Good luck OP :)

@JustMe18 Oh no! I have fistulising Crohn's, so kind of expected it.. I'm sure you will be Ok. Worth mentioning though, just in case!

Fingers crossed for you!
