16 week midwife appintment at 15 weeks?...

Just that really has anyone had it at 15 weeks my midwife is off the week I'll be 16

It shouldn't matter. They just run through your blood results and make sure your blood pressure and urine is ok so all can be done slightly earlier.

It really doesn't matter, the 16 week appointment is mostly for a quick blood pressure/urine check and going over the blood results from your 12 week scan and blood tests.

I didn't have mine at 15 weeks, I ended up having it at 17+4 weeks! Which I thought was super late but my midwife said the appointment schedule was more like guidelines and a little early or late was fine.
I wouldn't worry too much!

I had mine at 15 weeks. It’s a very quick, in and out appointment anyway. Wee check, blood pressure check etc.

I'm due my 16 week appointment at 18 weeks. Does anyone know if they check the heartbeat at this point?

It depends on your trust. Mine doesn’t, they didn’t check it until 24 weeks. The trust where I had my DD1 didn’t check the heartbeat at any midwife appointment, they said it wasn’t a reliable indicator of the baby’s health and that you should focus on movements.
Some check it at the 16 week appointment from what I’ve heard though.

Some areas will check for the heartbeat at 16 weeks, some won't. My midwife did but apparently it can be hard to find, so some don't try so people don't worry if they aren't successful.

A few of mine were a week late because I was working the weeks they should have been in. It wasn’t a problem.
