Early Pregnancy Worries!

I know LOADS of you will be able to understand what I'm on about here!

I'm currently about 9 weeks in to my first pregnancy and worrying constantly!

I didn't expect to get pregnant because of fertility issues and as soon as I knew I had to go for early scans because they suspected it was ectopic (luckily it wasn't!). Had to go back the next week to check for a heartbeat.

Feels like any time where I don't feel sick, or when I get a cramp I start panicking!

I've not had any bleeds or anything so don't suppose I've anything major to worry about - but tell me it's normal to worry like this!

Xx

Hi @AllieHallie I'm 5+6 and exactly the same! I'm trying to keep myself busy to save stressing about it. What will be will be whether we worry or not xx

Thanks @Winona1 :) crazy isn't it!

I realised that even when baby is here the worrying doesn't stop so I'm preparing myself for 18 years of it!!

I was the exact same OP. I remember around 9 weeks being in tears because I felt so sick and couldn't keep water down, then the next day I cried and panicked because I felt great...so I was convinced something was wrong.

Long story short I'm now 25 weeks and everything is (so far) considered low risk. Smile so as far as I'm concerned it's very normal to feel like this. Congratulations Thanks

I have concluded that it is just the beginning of motherhood. You'll basically just be worried for the rest of your life about your baby/toddler/teenager/40 year old beer-swilling son!

DannyWallace · 21/11/2018 14:09

@newrubylane that's true! My mum was in bits yesterday because she couldn't get in touch with me.
I had my phone switched off for ONE HOUR while I was in a yoga class. She was beside herself thinking that something had happened.
I'm in my 30's btw....Shock😂😂

I was exactly the same. Had two early misscarriages then got pregnant again and worried at every slight pain or symptom, every time I went to the toilet i was checking for blood! I am now sat here cuddling my 3 week old and have a whole new set of worries(totally worth it tho!)x

I feel exactly the same way! I’m in my second trimester (18+2) and the anxiety has kicked in massively! I’m scared about everything and finding it really hard to sleep or even relax. This is my first (AND ONLY) pregnancy - can someone PLEASE tell me it’ll get better when the baby comes?!
