Retroverted uterus

Hi all
I went for an early dating scan and they said that I have a retroverted uterus. I am currently 11 weeks.
Does anyone know if this affects bump size or when your bump starts showing? I read somewhere that most women’s uterus will correct themselves but wanted to know if it affects the bump size at all?
Thanks!

Hi! I have this too and from what I've read as the uterus tips backwards you're supposed to show later but I am 15 weeks and definitely have a little bump forming so not sure how true this is or not. I guess time will tell and I'm sure like everything everyone is different. Sorry that wasn't too helpful!!

Hi I also have this, the only impact it has had on both pregnancies is that my 12 week scans have had to be internal as they couldn’t get the measurements needs from a trans abdominal scan, in both cases they have then been unable to get a nuchal fold measurement due to the position of the baby and I’ve had to have the quad test instead. In terms of bump size I don’t think it had any impact, perhaps I haven’t showed as much until 15weeks ish and then suddenly popped! Apparently by 20weeks the uterus corrects its self and I certainly didn’t have any problems from it in my last pregnancy. Good luck!
