Hello all. Currently 9+5 and experienced some bright red bleeding yesterday. It's tapered off but I'm feeling a bit crampy this morning and am going in for a scan today. I'd feel awful if I wasn't having a scan and would just have to wait and see but I also feel terrified of the scan. It took us a while to conceive and it just feels awful to think we might lose it. Any comforting stories or just wise words to stay calm?

I really feel for you! I had a bright red bleed followed by cramps at 10 weeks, terrified me due to having two losses previously and a chemical.

I'm now sat here at 28 weeks with a monkey wriggling around in my belly.

Good luck today, stay positive, sending lots of love.

I know people that have had a bleed and have gone on to have happy and healthy babies. Just try to stay calm and rest for the moment. When is your scan? Hoping it goes well for you, please update us.

Unfortunately some will share positive stories and not so positive stories when it comes to bleeding in early pregnancy. I have had miscarriages, ectopic and a big bleed in my last pregnancy. (Last pregnancy is now a 4yr old boy) Hope for you it is a positive outcome.

Thanks all for your replies and reassurance. Just had my scan - all well! Saw the heartbeat and baby measuring just right. So so relieved!!!
