Can someone help me? I have not had my period this month yet my last one was on the 6th of October. I had unprotected intercourse from 1st til the 6th of November. I’ve been feeling nauseous for 5 days, my back hurts, I feel super tired, I’ve been getting cramps.

No one can help you over the Internet. You might be. take a test. They can be bought cheaply in Supermarkets.

OrianaBanana · 19/11/2018 20:28

Yes it’s possible. Can’t you take a test?

AssassinatedBeauty · 19/11/2018 20:29

Have you done a pregnancy test?

You must know that you could be pregnant, having unprotected sex means it is possible! The only way to know is to do a test. No one here can tell you anything at all.

Do you want to be pregnant?

PurpleDaisies · 19/11/2018 20:29

how do you think anyone on here can tell you?

You need a test.

Mummyboo66 · 19/11/2018 20:30

I forgot to add I’ve taken 7 different tests and they all have a faint line. I would post some pictures but I don’t know how to.

If you ovulated late, then it is possible.

You would need to take a pregnancy test to know either way.

KatharinaRosalie · 19/11/2018 20:30

If 7 test all have a line for pregnant then yes, it's higly likely you are indeed pregnant.

jacquejacque · 19/11/2018 20:30

A faint line is still a positive - so I'd say yes, sounds like you're pregnant.

Stephisaur · 19/11/2018 20:31

Sorry, cross post!

If you are new then you can’t upload photos directly. You could upload to a photo sharing site though and share the link x

AssassinatedBeauty · 19/11/2018 20:32

A faint line is a line, assuming you followed the test instructions and the line appeared within the time allowed. So I'd say you were pregnant. How do you feel about it?

Mummyboo66 · 19/11/2018 20:32

Thank you all so much I just can’t get my head around it. Just needed abit of reassurance.

Mooey89 · 19/11/2018 20:49

Sorry, that will teach me to read the full thread.a faint line is a line. Sorry if it’s not the answer you wanted OP. You do have choices.

daydreamb · 19/11/2018 20:56

How old are you OP if you don't mind me asking?

gimmeadoughnut123 · 20/11/2018 08:44

If you want to be extra sure OP, the doctor can do a blood test to see if there is pregnancy hormone in your blood. They are very accurate.

A gp won’t do a blood test when there’s a positive urine test. There’s absolutely no need.

Mummyboo66 · 20/11/2018 19:26

Thank you all so much for your help. I don’t really know where to go from here. Do I book a doctors appointment or?

OP posts:
WithAllIntenseAndPurposes · 20/11/2018 19:29

No you don't need to see a GP
You can self refer to the community midwifes

OrianaBanana · 20/11/2018 19:30

It depends what you want to do. If you are happy with being pregnant you should let your GP surgery know and they will give you an appointment at roughly 8 weeks with the midwife. If not, others who know will advise but I think GP may be a good place to start.

WithAllIntenseAndPurposes · 22/11/2018 20:47

No a gp appointment isn't needed
No wonder people can't get an appointment when they are ill with advice like this

user4041 · 22/11/2018 20:51

You do need to ask your gp first as some areas don't do self referral to midwives. Best bet is phoning your doctors surgery
