Bleeding 35 weeks

Hi, sorry if TMI, I've just been to the toilet and there was a small amount of red blood when I wiped, no pain and not enough to have shown on my underwear. I only had a tiny amount of spotting once before this when I was about six months and flew on holiday.

I have GD but well controlled, had a test for pre-eclampsia two weeks ago and all clear, blood pressure is fine, sugars are fine and I've done little today, I've done some work on my laptop so not exerted myself. At this time on a Sunday my only option would be a trip to a and e, DH is out but due back shortly. Anyone else have this and should I just wait to call my midwife in the morning?

I’m 34 weeks and had this last weds. Happened to have a midwife appt the following day so just mentioned it there and she said it was likely to just be changes to my cervix causing a bit of bleeding. I haven’t had any since.
I’d wait and call the midwife in the morning unless it gets worse/anything else changes.

Do you have the number for the Labour ward on your maternity notes? I would ring them and talk to a midwife for advice rather than a+e. I hope its all okay OP.

Does your hospital have a maternity assessment unit? There should be a maternity helpline number in your notes for you to call. If there is someone should be available to give you more specialist advice.

Going to try and find a number now, I've changed midwives so many times, there's so many numbers written in and crossed out, going to call hospital switch board

Did you get through to anyone OP?

Yes, on further checking the blood is in my urine, they'd already sent my sample off on Thursday as it shows a possible UTI. I've to collect a prescription this morning for antibiotics
