HCG level

Hi everyone, new to this site I wanted to know if there was any success story’s at all with a slight reduction in HGC level?

I suffered an ectopic pregnancy 10years ago and we finally decided 2 years ago to try again and found out last week we where pregnant but I had some pain and light bleeding so the hospital did some tests

My HCG count on Thursday was 290 and Saturday 240 they want to do another test

I have stopped bleeding and had no pain at all since early in the week

Is there any chance of a positive outcome?

As you probably know the hcg should have doubled in 48 hours if it is a viable pregnancy.
Very sorry but it looks unlikely. Hope you have some support.
