Does it pull and hurt your bump when you sneeze - i know you cant help sneezing but can it be harmful

Although I'm only 12 weeks, I get massive abdominal pain when I sneeze, especially early in the morning. I think its more to do with straining your abdominal muscles which are overly stretchy at the moment rather than affecting the bean itself.

I occasionally get a sharp pain when I sneeze, like a muscle twinging. I think it's pretty normal, as your abdominal muscles are under quite a bit of stress already. I tend to hang on to my bump when I'm sneezing, like it's going to fly off!! (27 weeks today)

i ge this too, then i sit/lay there feeling sorry for my self for ages cos it really really hurts

Yep. Definitely get a muscle twinge when I sneeze, sometimes quite painful, especially when lying flat or standing up straight. I find that if I pull my knees up (if lying down) or bend at the waist it's fine, though. Now at about 19+4, and have been having this since at least 12 weeks.

Have had this since about 13 weeks (25 + 4 now) - the first time it happened it was such a surprise I nearly yelled (as well I didn't as I hadn't told work at that stage...).

Slightly less frequent now but still there. Doesn't seem to have done any harm, though.
