Hi all

I am only 10 weeks pregnant and am having quite a few pains in my breasts. This happened last time I was pregnant, but only for a couple of weeks. Has anyone got any tips? I can't really afford to go out and buy a load of new bras, but have a couple of maternity ones from last time.

Help!!

get your dh/dp to massage them for you....no seriously do you have enough support from your bras at the mo because if not, I can recommend some strong for those growing things!!

A good bra really does help. You may not have a choice about buying bras, because you may not fit last time's bras - I didn't (very annoying! ). I found that a warm grain pillow helped. If you don't have one, then pour a bag of rice into a pillowcase, knot it or fold it so that the rice isn't totally compacted, and put it in a very low oven to warm. It needs to be warm, not hot. Then just drape over/under/around your boobs, experiment until you find a soothing position.

You can reuse the pillow as often as you like, and you can also reuse the rice - just cook as normal!
