Hello Everyone.

This is my first pregnancy and I'm already showing massively and it's a full on bump.
I am overweight which unfortunately for me is due to suffering with PCOS, however since being pregnant I have developed hyperemesis and have lost almost a stone now as I can't keep anything down. With loosing that weight my bump has continued to grow!!

I'm feeling very anxious about ir and I'm just hoping someone can tell me they have also experienced this and I'm freaking out over nothing lol

Would really appreciate any feedback.

Thank you ladies Smile

I have a little bump I’m 11 weeks this is my third pregnancy I suppose although they ended in MC , my friends and family have noticed my tummy, I think it’s prob a mix of water retention and the uterus has grown quite abit , I wouldn’t worry everyone’s different x

I was extremely bloated long before my actual bump showed. I looked enormous, it then subsided after a few weeks and a real baby bump began to show at 19/20 weeks. Don't panic too much, it's probably gas and water.

I'm 12 +3 weeks and have a bump already, it's also my first. I'm having to wear maternity trousers already as my normal ones are so uncomfortable. From what I've read everyone is totally different so unless the doc has a worry then there's no need for us to worry! My BMI is 25 so not overweight and I'm yet to put any weight on as I've lost my appetite massively (still eating though!). I've been very bloated which magnifies it massively! Don't know if any of that helps? xxxx

Unless its a multiple. Have u had a scan yet?

With first babies it’s usually bloat until around 20 weeks or so. If you’re v thin then shows more prominently, otherwise bloating! Loose tops! GL!

In my first pregancy my bump showed really early, strangers working in shops were even noticing before I had my first scan! He was born at 38 weeks, 9 pounds 6 so think it was just due to the size of him

We sound very similar OP!
I am a little overweight but have had horrendous hyperemesis and lost nearly 2 stone, putting me firmly in the normal weight bracket.
I'm 17 weeks now and my bump is so so much bigger than any of my friends were at this stage.

Nothing to worry about I'm sure, I'm loving my little bump :)

babasaclover · 18/11/2018 12:24

Some people seem to get big quickly but then slow down with growth so it'll probably all even out x

I didn't fit in my trousers from the day of my positive test - which must have just been bloat and not baby! But just shy of my 12 week mark someone at work was confident enough to just go "of you're pregnant look at your bump" - that's how obvious it was!!some people just show early! I'm now 29/40 and baby is measuring exactly as it should so no sign of a massive baby currently!

Hi Ladies

Thank you all so much for the feedback it's made me feel alot more at ease.

I had my 12 week scan and the baby is measuring bigger, so the have moved my due date. Also it is just the one on there. Phew!!

I've had some pain in lower abdomine and speaking with the Drs they have said it down to stretching so think I may just have to get used to the fact I have a big bump. Stretch marks are also already making an appearance. Never mind.

Thanks all again much appreciated
