Hello,
Im just 15 weeks pg, and at my nuchal scan a few weeks ago it was found that I had a low lying placenta which is completely covering the cervix. This is to be reviewed on the 20 week scan to see if its moved.
Im worried, but at the same time feeling really sluggish and awful about lots of things.

In my first pregnancy I did some mild exercise (15 mins on excercise bike or cross trainer - gentle glides nothing vigorous) a few times a week, plus I also did pregnancy yoga once a week.

In your experience, have you had to rest with a low placenta and been advised not to move much? By the way I was bleeding a bit between weeks 6 and 8 but no more since.

thankyou

I had a low placenta the whole pregnancy and was told to carry on as normal BUT not overdo it. So if you normally do some excersise then it's ok to continue gently.
I had 4 other kids so was never exactly resting

I am not sure. I have heard that you should try to take it easy and put your feet up each day if you can. Otherwise, gentle exercise sounds healthy to me.

thanks both of you. Magnolia did you end up having a natural birth?

I did have a very positive c section though xxx
