Help please! :(

so I’m a new member to this site but have been silently observing for a while finding comfort and hope from some of your posts.

So I have had one miscarriage before (almost 3 years ago) and now finally fell pregnant again. Found out last Wednesday and on Thursday I phone the early pregnancy unit as I had been told the last time to contact them if I fell pregnant again. They decided they wanted to monitor my hcg level. So on Thursday it was 225( I believed I was 5 week btw) on Saturday it almost doubled which was a relief but on Monday it had only gone up by 56%. The nurse decided she wanted me to have one more set of bloods done and on Wednesday devastatingly it had only gone up by 26%. I had and US today and they ruled out ectopic pregnancy. She could see (only from internal ultrasound) that there appeared to be a tiny little sac with the yolk and a little “line” inside. Measuring about 1mm. By now I should have been 6 weeks but the lady said she predicted I was around 5 weeks. They wants me to go back for another scan in 10 days to see if the baby had grown. The early pregnancy nurse seems to think I will miscarry. And tbh the hcg levels don’t look good. Any positive or similar experiences?? 10 days is a long time to wait 😓😓😓

Can't provide reassurance, but my embryo was 0.53cm at 6 +3. We know exact dates as it was ivf...

Maybe you just ovulated a few days later than you thought?

Your hCG is not dropping although the rise has slowed and there are some women whose levels increase more slowly so there is still a chance it might be ok, just early. Unfortunately it is probably more likely to be a miscarriage.

The uncertainty is horrible, I know. Look after yourself. Will keep my fingers crossed for you

Thanks for the responses ladies...I’m broken honestly, can’t believe this is happening again. I’m trying to remain hopeful but it’s just so hard 😓

I had no clue when we conceived but had a early scan at 7 weeks. Predicted date was 27th of Feb. Has another at 9 weeks 25th Feb. Unexpected baby so I was in shock and confirming!!

Then 12 week scan put us at 21st Feb.

Basically we almost gained a week within 5 weeks of scans.

Positive is hgc isn't dropping 🙌🏽

I wouldn’t be as worried if my hcg was rising more but it’s not and I feel I’m losing my pregnancy symptoms 😓 trying to stay strong and occupy myself but it’s just so hard!

@Babydusttoall I had minimal symptoms at the start. Nearly in the third trimester and getting a lot of symptoms! I just like to be different 🙈

I don't know about my hgc levels but sending lots of luck.
