What are people’s views of nub theory?

Well lots of different nub 'experts' told me girl, didn't get one boy guess. Today I got told I'm having a baby boy 💙 so to me it's a load of poop!

I think it has to be a very good picture to be able to say.
I have used the nub threory a lot of times and guessed correctly probably 80%. But it could be pure luck.

I think it is correct most of the time but it has to be a scan picture taken at the perfect angle at the right gestation. Boys tend to have nubs which are short and stacked, where as girls tend to have nubs which are long and parallel. But every baby is different and there is no guarantee they're going to get the right angle. So I would never go out and buy pink or blue purely based on the nub theory.
