Hey guys just wanted opinions on dismantling tests is it true it can affect the results of your tests? I'd say I've took around 10 tests as I'm ttc and at least half of those have been dismantled in hope of a second line appearing but when I was told it affects the results I stopped doing it and still got positive results also did one yesterday which had two lines but the second line was colourless so unsure what to think? Also these were first response tests and I've not had periods since my implant removal in August

A second line has go be either blue or pink depending on the test to be a positive. If the line is grey it means it's an evaporation line.
I've only ever used the cheap pound shop tests that are dip sticks so I've never dismantled a test but I have also heard they shouldn't be taken apart as it does affect results and whatever is on the test at the end of the allotted time while it's still held together is the correct result.

All the lines have been pink apart from the last test which was colourless
