Help me work out my due date?!?!!

Ok so my last period was due the 19th sept but didn't appear till the 9th october. My periods are normally every 32 days, so how do I calculate my due date? Do I just use the 9th Oct even though it was late. Help please

Yup, first day of last period. A dating scan at around 12 weeks may adjust your due date.

Thanks it's says I would be due July 20th and i am 4 weeks pregnant but I dont think I am that far on as only been trying for 3 weeks to conceive

Well that is possible, as the way pregnancy is counted is quite odd and basically means that the first couple of weeks are before you even ovulate. So if you have a 28 day cycle and ovulate on day 14 (lots of people don’t but this is what estimates are based on) then by the time your period is late (day 29) you would already be classed as 4 weeks pregnant, even though it’s roughly 14 days since the event that actually got you pregnant. I hope that makes sense. And congratulations! If you haven’t already called your GP just give them a ring and tell them the first date of your last period and they’ll let you know when to go for a “booking” appointment to get the ball rolling in terms of your care during pregnancy.
