So recently took some first response pregnancy tests but kept dismantling them and 2 lines appeared within the 3 minute timeframe but after i had dismantled the tests. I was advised not to do this as it can affect the results so i did one and didn't dismantle it i waited and within the first 2 minutes a second line apeared but it had no colour to it im unsure what to think now. Also the reason for me taking tests was because i havent had periods since my implant removal in august

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

It sounds likely it's positive, but take another one in the morning to be sure. No dismantling it!

Will do thankyou :)

@Chaosmoon is it true what they say about dismantling tests or do I need to dismiss all of them?

I'm not clear on the science behind it but, theoretically, the chemicals oxidizing could potentially cause an incorrect response. I don't know of they do though. You'll know in the morning.

I’ve read this on a couple of threads now - can I ask why you would dismantle the test after you’ve used it? Not trying to be snarky, I’m genuinely curious as I’d never heard of this before! Smile

I'm not sure I guess in hope there's a second line it's easier to see when dismantled
