I'm 38+5 been having Branston Hicks for a few weeks but now getting some different sorts of pains. My whole bump goes tight and hard but it's much stronger and I feel it pulling down into my vagina and inside and in the front onto my pubic bone IYSWIM. Could this be labour beginning? xx

This sounds like what my Brixton hicks felt like. They stopped me in my tracks but weren't labour pains. Labour pains are more concentrated but apparently are totally different for each person. I had a slow build up and had 48 hours of it. Someone told me when you're in labour you know and I found this to be very true! The best of luck!

I found BH did become more intense towards the end and the further on/bigger I got. But for me when I started getting contractions it just felt like the tightening of a BH but with obvious pain, then it going away and coming back. I do believe it can feel very different in everyone though x
