Overdue and fed up...anyone else?

I’m 40+1 today and absolutely no signs that I’m anywhere near feeling fed up and emotional today. I’ve been off work since 37 weeks so I’ve done absolutely everything I needed to do r.e baby prep, batch cooking etc and I’m so bored but now feeling too tired, big and uncomfortable to go out anywhere! Anyone else overdue and feeling the same?

Yes I’m fed up too, I’m Currently 40 weeks 6 days today. Been doing the same as you with cooking etc. I had a midwife appt yesterday and she tried to do a sweep but it didn’t work cos she said my cervix was too far back! Also had a bad allergic reaction on Sunday night and came out in red blotches so had to go docs twice and they sent me up the hospital yesterday to get bloods checked, all ok and they have given me piritons but it seems to be taking ages to clear up, not sure if that’s down to my immune system being low or not. They booked me in for induction from tomorow onwards to have to sit and wait now for the call unless he arrives in the next day or so but have a feeling he won’t budge

Oh no pickles sounds like you’ve been having a tough time of it! I’m at the midwife tomorrow, on the fence about whether to have a sweep or not though if she offers. I’m tempted to maybe leave another week but I may feel different tomorrow!

Glad your bloods and everything were okay, at least you know your coming to the end now with induction booked, wishing you all the best!

Not even overdue yet! 38+3 and so hacked off with it. I just sit here worrying. I think I need to get out more but it's not that easy when heavily pregnant and most friends are at work. Come on baby!!!

40+3 today and feeling exactly the same. Don't feel like this baby is going to make an appearance at all if left to her own devices. I have a sweep booked tomorrow and really hope it works! Good luck ladies

It’s hard isn’t it paper I know I should be making the most of the peace and quiet and having time to rest but it’s boring now! I’ll probably be wishing for this time back in a few weeks lol!

I feel the same mitzgerald I really don’t think mines gonna come if left to her own devices either, hopefully she proves me wrong! Hope your sweep goes okay tomorrow and gets things moving. I’ll possibly be offered one tomorrow too but I’m unsure whether to have it or not.

Yep!! Am 41+1 today and well and truly fed up!! Have had 2 sweeps, no twinges or loss of plug, not sleeping properly as a result of size of bump, induction in 2 days if no change but would rather avoid that if possible. 1st DC was on time...so we thought this one would be the same or earlier....

I’m 40+1 had a sweep yesterday 1cm and looking favourable, lost my plug this morning so hopefully things are moving in the right direction. I have another sweep tomorrow so I’m hoping our baby girl will be here for the weekend! I’m just working my way through netflicks to try and pass the time as I’m far too uncomfortable to drive now. I can relate on the not sleeping mini I’m just so uncomfortable with the size of my bump sleeping is off the cards! Hope things start moving for you soon!

I’m 40+1 too babydust no signs whatsoever at the moment although I have had quite a few Braxton Hicks today. I went out in the car earlier and was really uncomfortable and struggled so I’ll be knocking that on the head now until after she’s here! Doing the same as you and working my way through Netflix!

Was at the midwife unit yesterday- saw a newborn - made me grumpy

Had three attempted sweeps but baby isn't engaged🙄

Think I had two braxton hicks last night nothing since
