I can’t tell anymore! Thought I was getting lots of wiggles. Quite low by my bladder... then the odd kick higher up. But I’m doubting myself now whether they’re even movements or just my overactive pregnant digestive system! Anyone else?! How do I know???

Hello! Congratulations!
I'm 22 weeks with anterior placenta and have starting feeling some definite baby movements in the last week or so. Initially I did think it was gas but now I'm sure as it's sort of small 'thumps' from the inside around belly button/just below! I think you're feeling baby too! Exciting!

Aw congratulations. I’m pretty certain some are- just sat with my feet up and had a couple of definites I could feel from the outside! It’s so exciting. I can remember loving it when I had my son a few years back but you forget what it’s like early on! The first kicks are just amazing!!! X

I'd say that it's probably baby movements if you think it is! I have an anterior placenta and first felt butterfly type movements at 16 weeks and then full swishes and kicks by roughly 20 weeks. So don't get disheartened by people saying that you shouldn't be feeling movements this early with an anterior placenta- it's entirely possible, everyone is different! Grin

This is the fun stage now, enjoy your pregnancy OP!
