For caffeine content?

pippistrelle · 13/11/2018 15:51

One giant bar (100g) of milk chocolate has 20mg of caffeine, according to Dr Google (assuming caffeine is your objection). I think you're safe to stuff your face. On that score anyway.

I didn’t know there was a limit - is it due to caffeine?

Tbh if it wasn’t for chocolate, lucozade and wine gums I’d have withered away to nothing during first 12 weeks as I was off all food, esp anything of nutritional value. Easy to drop coffee and tea as they made me book (coffee still does at 26 weeks)

I think if you were approaching the suggested caffeine limit in chocolate alone, that's probably the least of your worries.

Chocolate was my main diet whilst I was pregnant with DS. The only thing that happened was I've ended up sharing my chocolate drawer with him as he seems to have the same love of it.
