39 weeks pregnant today feeling so restless not getting enough sleep and feeling so tired any remedies or anything that will help me? I also have bad back pains and still no sign of the baby coming yet. I've tried the hot baths but they don't seem to help. 😞

If you find anything to help let me know! 39 weeks tomorrow and not sleeping, nowhere is comfortable and have to pee all the time.

I keep repeating it won't last forever in my head.

Bless you.

Are you doing much walking / bouncing on a birth ball? I think baths are generally more likely to slow things down, if you are in early labour. Keeping upright and active will get baby pressing down on your cervix, encouraging dilation. Although I appreciate that if you are knackered you won't want to be dashing around. Can you partner / someone give you a back massage - I loved this during my first labour.

I can't help on the sleep front unfortunately - I'm 29 weeks and had dreadful insomnia since not long after I got the positive test back. Throw a toddler into the mix and I'm knackered. I do find listening to audio books relaxing when I can't sleep though, and they'll often help me drift off, so that might be worth a try? Or listen to a meditation track?

I hope baby makes an appearance soon!
