Early ectopic?

Hi everyone,

I am feeling lost and confused and wondered if anyone could advise please?

Both Friday and Saturday morning I got faint positives on same brand HPT, have since researched and seen then are notorious for false positives. I have taken CB dig and FRER and both clear negatives since, so I have kind of out ruled being pregnant. I am 4/5 days late for AF and have no signs of it arriving any time soon. I just feel different. Yesterday and today I have been having lower abdominal pain on my left side which I believe is where my ovary is. It's like a sharp, stabbing pain that comes in waves. It's not crippling pain more of a painful niggling. I don't know too much about ectopic and have never been pregnant before so I have no previous experience to go off, but after googling (I know- bad idea!) it seems they are the signs. I don't know if HCG levels may be lower and the cause of not getting consistent, strong positives?

Can anyone advise please? I may be overthinking this and being totally stupid and AF will show up soon.. but I just thought I'd see if anyone has experienced similar or any idea of anything else it could be?

Thanks in advance and sorry for long post.

Head to the gp for one-sided pain. Head to a and e if you get 'shoulder tip pain'.

I had an ectopic a couple of years ago.
Faint positives, a kind of ‘pinching’ pain in the right ovary area, spotting, and then a lot of bleeding a couple of days later. (Midwives initially thought miscarriage but it was an ectopic in my right ovary. Took many scans before they found it.)

Go to the GP with this. It can get serious very quickly with ectopic pregnancies.

Thanks for your help ladies. Still no AF today and my tummy has almost a burning sensation. I will make an appointment with my GP
