Hi

I’m 27 weeks pregnant. As of yesterday I have felt something hard sticking in me from the inside near my belly button (not always in the same place but around belly button) and feels like baby’s elbow or knee. When I’ve pressed on it baby has moved. I’ve felt movement further down (low down in pelvis) so was just wondering how baby might be positioned, maybe that’s a knee and baby is already head down?

It’s aftually really lovely to actually feel like I’m touching the baby but I’m just curious

I didn’t accidentally hit myself / baby there this morning in bed (not hard but stung the skin a bit as a think it’s quite stretched / tender) and baby wriggled in response!

It's more likely a hand or foot. Baby is still really small an elbow would barely be noticeable.

I'm 24 weeks and baby definitely seems to love lying horizontally across my belly - I can feel movements on both sides! I know she moves a lot though as I can sometimes feel her down on my bikini line too. So fun to think they have all that room to wriggle about - I wouldn't assume that if baby is head down now, that's how they'll stay though. They've still got space to manoeuvre.

My mum said that when she was pregnant with me, I always had one heel sticking out that she'd poke to make me move. I reckon 27 weeks is a credible time to feel something like that. Enjoy!

I'm 27 weeks and baby is head down and has been since my 20 week scan. I feel her head movements very low down and sometimes when she the hiccups I swear it feels like she's i the vagina haha.. her back is along my tummy and I think her feet are curled towards the back left side.. and her arms generally fling about around and below my belly button.

It's fun playing guess the body part huh 😬

It is fun to guess!

It occurred to me it might be a foot 🤔

We are having a 4D even a week on Saturday so maybe that will give me more of an idea although I’m sure she moves around
