Tiny bit of bleeding at 24 weeks

Last night I was violently sick, so much that I've burst some of the blood vessels under my skin on my face. I didn't sleep all night as baby was very active and actually only stopped for about 2 hours the whole night. This morning it's been very active again it hasn't stopped moving about, which is unusual for me I normally only feel movements after eating really. Anyway I felt a bit damp down there, sorry tmi. So went to toilet and when I wiped there was a tiny bit of red blood. I mean the tiniest amount. But put this with how crap I'm feeling and the non stop movements I'm thinking should I call the midwife line? I'm always a bit skeptical of calling because I feel like Im wasting time. I haven't had anymore blood, but like I say was the tiniest amount so I'm not sure if it's really cause for concern.

Of course you should call. Please call now. Count the Kicks say that any change in movement patterns should be reported, even increased movement, because it can be a sign of something.

Hope all is well for you, but please call the hospital or your midwife. At 24 weeks they might do an emergency scan to be sure.

Lovely thankyou guess I need reassurance I'm not being ott! I had the same with my first except reduced movements and bleeding at 28 weeks. When I got there they saw me straight away but I had a consultant come check me over, he lifted up my top and then went and came back with 6 students and started demonstrating on me how to do a key hole procedure as I had the perfect veins or something to demonstrate on. This was before anything to do with baby was checked. Everything was fine but I felt very embarrassed and felt like I had wasted time. But actually it was the consultant who had acted unprofessionally but its completely put me off going back up there, I never did go up again even with reduced movements but thankfully everything was fine. I'll go ring now

Gosh, really. I am a bit surprised at that. Definitely call back if you have concerns (continuing dampness or blood - could be a slow leak of the waters) and definitely mention at your next routine appointment.

Sorry you had a bad experience with the hospital in your last pregnancy.

I’m sure everything is fine but the increase in movements should really be checked out!

I had increase in movements at 25 weeks in my first pregnancy and unfortunately it didn’t end well.
Please go and get seen.
