Hi,
This is my second pregnancy but I can't remember this with my first.... I'm about 5/6 weeks pregnant and having lots of symptoms but I occasionally come over sick/faint/hot/needing a poo all of a sudden and then I have to use the bathroom and it eases off.... just wondering if this is normal? We've had quite a few complications trying to get pregnant and also with this pregnancy so I'm worrying about everything

I think like lots of things it isn't completely normal but it probably isn't anything massive to worry about either - if that makes sense :-). Your blood pressure tends to go down in early pregnancy and that can make you feel faint and even nauseous. Maybe try drinking lots more water.
Don't know about the pooing thing but I don't think there is anything connected to pregnancy that could cause that and be worrying. Probably just a bit of a bug. Hope it goes well

If it’s diarrhoea, maybe speak to your doctor, possibly through NHS111? It sounds like probably nothing, but the symptoms match with some ectopic pregnancy symptoms (dizziness and diarrhoea). They might want to scan you just to check everything is in the right place. Otherwise, they will probably put your mind at rest!

So yeah: almost certainly pregnancy weirdness and nothing at all to worry about, but worth getting checked out anyway.

Hello! I'm 8+4 now and have been having something like this on and off throughout. At the risk of TMI I've been finding my gut has been all over the place - I can go a day or so with no movement and then suddenly have to go ASAP. As far as I understand it it's all part of progesterone affecting your digestion.

I had this. Was the first incling that I was pregnant

I had this! So strange how it makes you feel sick

princessbala · 12/11/2018 22:00

I've already had a scan, as they were worried it was ectopic as I've had a Hugh amount of worry with this little one already.... three bleeds and it's making me so worried

I'm feeling better today, thankyou all for your replies! It just makes me feel better to talk to people who understand xx

I had this one day last week when i was work. I have had it before a few times before i was pregnant. I think it was a combination of being to hot and probably blood pressure. Will ask my midwife tomorrow

I get this sometimes in the second half of my cycle. It's something to do with progesterone.
