Is it normal to feel this rubbish

Hi all. I'm 37 weeks today. This is my second baby but first was induced at 36 weeks and was very small. So I'm on new territory here.

I feel like rubbish. Over the last couple of days I've lost my appetite. I feel sick. I've got no energy. My back and joints really hurt. I can't sleep but sleep is all I want. I keep getting light headed and really clumbsey. Also I'm mood swingy.

Is this normal for this point in the pregnancy or is it signs there's somthing wrong or signs I'm going to go into labour soon?

Sounds normal, but if you’re worried call your triage. I’m nearly 38 weeks now and feel similar, all I’ve done today is sleep and make sure I eat. My appetite’s gone a bit too.

I'm the same, absolutely shattered, feel sick and can't be bothered to do much of anything. Hoping that this means labour is soon, it's my first so reckon it may be a while still xx

Sorry OP, sounds terrible but also normal, I felt like that the whole time. Once the baby came I was able to get some sleep - which is not a sentence you here very often.

Ugh, so I've got three more weeks of this. It's the back and joint pain that's really bothering me as I can't get comfy or sleep for longer than an hour without having to move.

Very normal. I’ve got a two week old and I can tell you that up until he was born I’d felt dreadful for at least six weeks. I was wrought with emotion, my feet absolutely killed as did my back, I was knackered and needed to nap every day to make it through etc. It was a tough time. Definitely worth it though as cliche as that may be.

I'm not as far on but do remember with DD1 that in the last 4 weeks I got all the first trimester symptoms back with a vengeance. Of course call if you're worried but I found I was similar to what you've described x
