Achey bump!?

21 weeks preg w DC1 and - having been pretty much very comfortable since the end of first trimester - have quite an achey bump today. It's not cramping and doesn't feel 'internal' - more like the round ligament pain I had a few weeks ago when things were just starting to stretch a little. I think it feels most like a pulled muscle. Feels very full in there, skin's tight, breathing in deep so my chest expands makes it stronger.

Is this normal? Bump is quite pronounced now - like it's definitely there, no sucking in for a flat tum - is it just muscles/skin under pressure? (will using more bio oil help?)?

Thanks in advance for any experience!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

You might have pelvic girdle pain. Bump feeling stretched/stitch like pain was how mine started. I'd mention it to your midwife as it took 5 weeks for me to get a referral for physio and by that point I was in quite a lot of pain.

Thanks so much for response @InfantaSybilla will do - had what I thought was sciatica on and off on both sides for a few days, also apparently more likely PGP, so that would make sense. Apparently there is a free pre-natal group physio locally so will get on with that too. Thanks again!!
