Hey Ladies, I’m currently 7w5d pregnant , I went for a scan Friday at 7w3d and “baby” only measured 6w2d, there was a heartbeat and the sonographer didn’t seem worried and said my dates must be off , I know they’re defintely not as I track my bbt and also clearblue fertility monitor gave me peak also, I’ve to go back for a scan next Friday to check but I’m going out of my mind with worry! It took us 14 months to get pregnant this time and 4 years with our daughter! Anyone been in this position or have been sure of dates , what outcome ?? Thanks! 😢😢😢

You might know when you ovulated but you can't know for certain how long it took for implantation. Also early measurements aren't as accurate, I had an early scan measuring 5 weeks, with a heartbeat, and by my 12 week scan that had gone up a week and a half to a date that made more sense. Don't stress so much x

Could it be that many days out though??? I got my dates exact with my daughter, I'm just an emotional wreck at the moment SadSad

Honestly yes. I went for my 12 week scan thinking from the early scan that I was 11 weeks 4 days, as it turns out I was 13 weeks 5 days 😂 I had no idea on dates but baby is doing great now. X

I had an early scan thinking I was 10 weeks turned out I was measuring at 8 weeks and the 12 week scan confirmed the dates riven as early scan. It’s quite common.
Don’t worry

I was told at my 12 week scan that NHS early scans don't do any measurements and just give you a guess. At 6 weeks I was told I was 5, and then at what I thought was 11, I was 12 :)

Hope everything goes well!

I have just been through this.
Mine unfortunately didn't end well but I never heard a heartbeat the first time so I wanted to come on and say hopefully that is a very good sign. Fx all is well! I've heard it's pretty common and when I was going through it I read so many things online that it happened to loads of others who were fine so I'm sure that's all it is Smile

Thanks all , maybe it is more common than I was aware of, the fact u seen a heartbeat is stopping me from having a breakdown I think! 🤦🏼‍♀️ it'll be a long few days until Friday when we go back for a repeat scan! I really hope it was just a mistake on the scan! 😢😢😢
