Hi everyone. I’m currently in a huff with my body because I don’t know what is happening.l and I’m stressing. My last period was on the 22 of September. I started ovulation on the 5th of October and had unprotected sex that night with my fiancé as we decided we would love to try for a baby. Cut a long story short we then panicked a bit so I took the Ellaone pill 4 days later (the 4th September) I am now way past my period date. I know Ellaone delays periods but I have spoken to a few pharmacists and they said it never usually delays it more than a week. My periods are regular and I have taken like 4 pregnancy tests this week and BFN. I have had some strange symptoms going on like, lower back pain on and off, blue veins on my breast and small white bumps around my areola and soreness in my nipples. I also had metal taste in my mouth and slight lower stomach cramps, dizzynsss and on and off nausea. I have a gut feeling I am pregnant but keep getting disheartened when the tests come back negative. Anyone has a late show of HCG in there pregnancy? N

If the last time you had unprotected sex was 5 October the latest you could have conceived would be the 10 October so definitely long enough that if you were pregnant it should show up on a test cause you'd be about 6 weeks by now.

The morning after pill can mess with your cycles. Surely youd be testing positive by now x

Thanks for replying 🙂 I know that's what I was thinking. It's just I've read things in here of women who didn't read positive till 3 weeks late for their period and they were 7/8 weeks.
If I'm not pregnant I hope my AF hurries up so we can start trying again.

You're not pregnant if the tests are negative.
Unless of course you have actually got pregnant since the negative test or ovulation and implantation have occurred since the negative test.

I would see your GP about lack of period because it could be a symptom of something else.

Those were my exact pregnancy symptoms. Slowly followed by the smell of any good making me gag. Hope you get the result you want

Yeh I know it's really annoying. I just have this gut feeling that I can't explain. If I wasn't getting certain symptoms and hearing other people's story's of how they got a super late positive I wouldn't be questioning it as much.
I'm handing in a urine sample at the doctors tomorrow so will have to wait and see.
Thank you fir your replies

I’m not sure what you think will be different about a doctor’s test. The ones you can buy are just as accurate.

If you think you might be pregnant, it’s amazing what “symptoms” can suddenly appear.

Grace646 · 11/11/2018 17:15

People on here advised me to hand one in or get a blood test. 👍

I’m surprised your GP agreed to do one if you’re getting negative Home pregnancy tests. There’s no point.

Grace646 · 11/11/2018 17:23

You don't have to see a GP to get a urine test you just ask for a sample bottle at reception and then hand it in and get results back. Like I said I'm just checking because of other people's stories. People who didn't get a positive til 8 weeks and so on. I doubt anything will come back from the GP test but it's just worth a try, you never know. As I've learned not every pregnancy is the same or shows up BFP at the same time.

Hi I’m 4 days late and testing negative has anyone else had this? I’m suffering with lower back pain and I am getting a few cramps. Any advice would be great.

I have used clear blue AFM test and a Morrisons own.

Sorry new to this I was meant to start a new thread not reply to this one Blush
