I have tender boobs but not as tender as they have been also I only feel sick in the morning and I am not actually sick, I have a sick feeling which is similar to when I have not eaten but that is it.. ecept a few bouts of tiredness.. oh and lots of cm..creamy ..sorry tmi! I am worried that something is wrong. I had an early scan at 7.5 weeks and it showed the heartbeat.. I do not have any pains or bleeding or anything that would indicate there is an awful problem.. but then reading emmma;s diary and all the bounty pack I am meant to be weeing loads, being sick etc it has made me frantic... I am not weeing a lot to be honest, In fact I have only been this morning and not since, I wake up in the morning with the pains ou get when you are dying for a wee but I mianly wee continually at home... what are you thoughts am I mad

BB - I had no symptoms of pregnancy until 7.5 weeks when I felt queezy on occasion. I had no sore or enlarged boobs, my bladder was always awful so not change, in fact it got a bit better over time! I only knew for sure I was pregnant as I had the early scan, and then another one at 6.5 and 7.5 weeks.
I developed morning sickness after around 9weeks properly, and then it did not go, so dont long for it!!!

Lost of people do not get any signs at all. There is a heartbeat, so just keep remembering this when you are worried. If there was a problem you would be showing signs of some kind.

Be pleased, as it will all change soon enough, then you will know you are prgnant!

Oh, and congratulations btw! . fingers crossed it goes this smoothly all the way through!

MrsBadger · 19/06/2007 15:25

sounds perfectly normal to me

Oh, and put emma's diary in the bin
and the bounty pack while you're at it

bluebell82 · 19/06/2007 15:27

I know, its dreadful.. I had a mc in oct and my husband read in emma's diary that it is best not to have sex until after 12 weeks if you have had previus mc. He is sicking by it like it is gospel and driving me insane even though the midwife and doctor says it fine. They are more harm than good if you ask me!

I had very similar worries as I was not sick or nauseous at all (sorry) and other than feeling a bit weary and getting breathless when running I had no symptoms until my boobs started growing. I just had my 20 week scan - still not much in the way of symptoms but perfectly normal looking little baby growing away in there - lucky you!!

I felt much more sick & "pregnant" with dd1 than I did with dd2

gingeme · 19/06/2007 15:31

bluebell82 dont knock it your one of the lucky ones. When I was expecting ds2 I didnt have any signs at all till the day he 'turned' and I was sick for about a day. Shame I cant say the same this time round got all the symptoms ten fold. As the other ladies have said you have nothing to worry about and all the best for the rest of your pg

I know everyone is different and I am probably being a little bit of a worrier! After reading my first message I am havig symptoms but just not agreessive ones... I keep dreaming that when I go for my next scan (16th July) it wouldn't have grown at all at they would have to tell me and my dh the awful news.. it makes me sick to think it could happen

BB - I am sorry about your MC, I hope I did not sound dismissive of your worries, If I did< it was not intended.

I was told by my midwife, although I know its not a good way of determining, that people are often experience more sickness when carrying girls as your body produces much more oestrogen which makes you feel sick. I thought it sounded plausible, but I knew I was having a girl anyway as I found out!

Keep positive, and roll on 12 week scan so you can be assured

(for me anyway) the symptoms I had came and went - one day I'd feel like death warmed up, the next I'd feel great and bouncy. They also vary from person to person - some people get no MS at all, some people don't stop throwing up for 6 months.

There's other things to consider as well - morning sickness doesn't have to refer to physical vomiting - I've only actually thrown up a few times, most of the times its just nausea, especially if I haven't eaten anything. I'd liken the feeling to that when you wake up with a bit of a hangover, don't eat anything for a few hours then can't decide if you feel sick or hungry!

It sounds like everything is going fine - however I know I was worrying in exactly the same way if I stopped feeling sick for a few hours! I had my 12 week scan and I'm much more relaxed about it now.
