Hi everyone I had a sweep last night at 40+2. I've been booked to start the induction process tomorrow afternoon at 3 and wondering everyone's (good) induction stories. My cervix was closed but she said it was very soft and stretchy and she could easily sweep around and get it to 2/3cm so I'm hoping that's a good sign

My induction was a fab experience. Pessary in at 2.30 started with contractions within a couple of hours. Pessary removed at 7pm to see if u could continue... Waters broke naturally at 11pm, baby born at 3.27am Smile

@gemsparkle84 oh wow I would love for that to happen but how many cm were you when you got the pessary?? Was your body more prepared for it starting?

I wasn't any cm, they couldn't even perform a sweep. I went from 1cm when my waters broke to baby arriving in just over 4 hours. It was an early induction, I had lots and lots of BH from many weeks before.
