Rang midwife this afternoon as been having painful cramps since this morning. Came onto ward and all tests were fine, told consultant would be along to discharge me. Hour and a half later they ask me for another urine sample as protein in the last one and now won't discharge me due to ketones in urine. Probably because I haven't had anything to eat or drink in the 5 hours I've been here :(
I know I'm in the best place but after 5 hours of being sat in a room with no-one to speak to I am slowly going out of my mind and my phone battery is getting dangerously low!
Anyone had this before? Hoping ketones levels fall by next urine test!
